Legion of Honor
Organized in 1991
The Legion of Honor was organized in 1991 to provide an Honor Guard for Sphinx Shriners. As called upon by the Potentate, this Uniformed Unit performs in parades, ceremonials, stated meetings, special functions, and at the Potentate’s Reception.
All members have served in the armed forces of the United States and released with an honorable discharge. Legionnaire uniforms are red, white, and blue in color to signify patriotism and allegiance to American ideals and values.
