Sphinx Shrine Band
Organized 1899 ― The Oldest Shrine Band in the Land!

With a one hundred seventeen year tradition, the Sphinx Shrine Band is the oldest continuously operating band in Shrinedom!

Our unit is always looking for new musicians to add to our lineup.  Brass, woodwind, and percussion players are needed and are very much welcome.  We provide all our musicians with uniforms.

We get together Monday nights at the Sphinx Shrine Center and rehearse from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  The music we play includes a diverse mix of standards and popular numbers.  Depending on the nature of each occasion, we perform specially selected tunes designed to please and entertain everyone present.

The Band has a number of concerts and parades coming up. Come on down and join the musical fun!
